A Month of Heat, Sound, and Connection
As summer fades into fall, Kolm Kontrast’s Vancouver space is keeping the community warm with a lineup of themed sauna sessions, live music, and guided rituals throughout September. Here’s what’s on the calendar.
Thursdays Bring Live Acoustic Sound
From 3–5pm, guest musicians take over the space: Wenonah Brock opens the month on guitar and vocals on September 10th, followed by KurtTheViolinist’s instrumental pop and R&B set on the 17th, Handpan on the 24 th to end the month.
That Same Night, the DJ Booth Lights Up
September 10th’s After Hours goes thematic with a John Summit-inspired playlist, giving guests two hours to move between heat and cold at their own pace to a high-energy soundtrack.
Saturdays are All About Aufguss
This month brings a new twist: Cinematic Aufguss debuts at 1pm on September 12th, 19th, and 26th, pairing the classic steam-and-towel ritual with a movie-inspired sensory experience. The evening version, After Hours Aufguss Show, returns on the 12th and 26th at 8:45pm with its signature lighting effects and EDM-driven theatrics.
Looking to Meet New People?
The Singles Social returns Thursday, September 17th at 8:45pm, built around the idea that real connection starts with shared discomfort in this case, heat and cold rather than small talk over drinks.
Friday Night Has Its Own Soundtrack Too
On September 18th, Live DJ TANNIIX takes over from 8:45–10:45pm for a night of house music alongside sauna and plunge sessions.
A New Class Also Launches This Month
On September 25th at 7:00am, Kolm debuts Guided Morning Biohacking, a science-backed protocol designed to prime your physiology and set up a more optimized start to the day — for early risers looking to build heat and cold exposure into their morning routine.
Two Guided, Reflective Sessions Round Things Out
The clothing-optional Self Love Women’s Night returns September 21st at 8:45pm, offering women a supportive space to unwind. And the month closes on September 28th with the Resonance Ritual: Sound + Sage, a guided sound-healing session at 7:15pm designed to help guests clear their heads and set intentions as the season turns.
From cinematic steam shows to sunrise biohacking, September at KOLM has something for early birds, night owls, and everyone chasing that contrast-therapy high. As always, spots fill quickly — reserve ahead through Kolm’s online schedule to make sure you don’t miss out.
