Job Overview
The Front Desk team delivers the highest level of customer service to every guest and prospective client. The ideal candidate is passionate, friendly, present, and experienced in exceptional hospitality and customer service. You’ll ensure smooth guest flow throughout the space, lead studio tours, and respond promptly to inquiries in person, by email, phone, or social media. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with others, stays calm and warm under pressure, and has excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Know the brand’s mission, core values, and culture, and set an example for guests and staff alike
- Handle all customer service needs: guest check-in, phone calls, emails, and digital inquiries
- Solve problems and provide solutions for customer needs, complaints, or account issues
- Practice first-name culture with guests to build a sense of community and belonging
- Take pride in the customer experience, driving sales and staying knowledgeable on class offerings, current promotions, and the full sales process
- Manage Mariana Tek: sign-in and attendance, sales reports, service bookings, account updates, memberships, credits, cancellations, and overdue account collection
- Complete opening and closing checklists as needed
- Communicate clearly and thoughtfully with Management, Sweat Equity, Guides, and Cleaning teams
- Report to the General Manager on customer service needs, client account issues, sales reports, cleaning support needs, inventory, studio maintenance issues, and other operational needs
- Engage in our internal Slack channel to share feedback and shoutouts
- Circulate regularly through all areas to maintain organization and cleanliness front desk, change rooms, tea room, sauna and ice bath areas, washrooms, staff/storage room, laundry, retail, and lost-and-found
- Assist Guides with guest flow between sauna and ice bath during classes
- Perform other studio duties as needed
Physical Requirements
- Stand and work on your feet for 8-hour shifts
- Move, pull, carry, or lift up to 20 pounds
- Kneel, bend, reach, and climb as needed
- Comfortably work in an environment with large temperature variations
Qualifications
- Available for 2–3 shifts per week (minimum 15 hours), with a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and some holidays (we’re open year-round)
