Policies & Etiquette
Booking in Advance
All sessions are available to book up to 2 weeks in advance. Monthly Membership holders are able to book 3 weeks in advance. We highly recommend pre-booking on the website or mobile app.
Late Policy
We recommend arriving at the front desk 10 minutes prior to the start of your session. If you do not arrive atleast 5 minutes prior to the start of your session, you risk losing your spot to the next person on the waitlist. All guided classes start on time. We do not allow late entry to guided classes to prevent disruption to the rest of the class. All guests must be in the tearoom by the start of class or risk not being allowed entry.
Waitlist
If a session is full, we encourage you to add yourself to the waitlist. You must have an available credit that will be used upon successful entry to the session to book a waitlist spot. You will not be able to use that credit to book a second session. If you are added to the sessions, you will receive an automated email or text. You can remove yourself from the waitlist at any time with no penalty. The waitlist will “autofill” up to 2 hours before the session: adding the person at the top of waitlist to the session automatically. Be mindful of the 12 hour cancelation window, as it will apply if you are added from the waitlist.
Within 2 hours of the session any freed up spots will be available on a first come first serve basis, so if you don’t make it off the waitlist at 2 hours before session start time you will not be automatically added to the session.
Cancelation Policy
Sessions can be cancelled without penalty up to 12 hours before the session start time. If canceled with less than 12-hour notice of the session start time you will lose the credit from your package.
If you are on our unlimited membership OR 2-week intro membership: Cancelling within 12 hours of a session start time will result in a $15 late cancellation fee. A $45 no-show fee will be charged if you do not cancel before your reservation start time and do not check in for your reservation on the two week intro Membership. This is to ensure our community has the chance to book, and sessions are not booked full of no-shows.
We do not accept email cancellations. You must manage your reservations on our website or mobile app.
Membership Cancelation Policy
After your initial 3-month commitment, you may cancel your membership by emailing info@kolmkontrast.com at least 7 days before your next billing cycle.
Membership Pause
You may pause your membership for up to 3 months every 12 months (rolling basis). Please email our team before your next renewal to make arrangements.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds on memberships or packages. Credits from credit membership packages can be transferred or used to book other guests.

Space
Our team is committed to creating a safe space for our community. Please be respectful in sharing the space with other guests and our staff. We ask all guests to place used towels in hampers and discard tea cups when finished. Share the change room amenities by taking efficient short showers to be respectful of other peoples time.
Sobriety
Kolm is an alcohol/substance free facility. Arrive sober to gain the natural high from contrast therapy.
Technology
We are a cell phone free facility. We ask all guests to leave their cell phones in their lockers.
One exception to this rule is to briefly take photos of yourself or our space during free time in your session. Please ensure no other guests are photographed without their consent.
Guest Policy
On any regular Kolm session package (ie. not an intro offer) you are able to book a maximum of 4 additional guests per account to any session type.
Towel Service and Amenities
Guests receive 2 towels per visit. Robe rental available at an additional cost. We are delighted to provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion – please use it respectfully to minimize waste. Take only what you need for immediate use.
Dress Code
Kolm is a clothing required facility. Bathing suits or other appropriate clothing is required. Please use our private change stalls for changing. Underwear is not accepted as clothing. We do have bathing suits available at front desk for purchase if needed.
Code of Conduct
Be respectful of your fellow guests. Talking is encouraged in the sauna, tea room, and change rooms at “indoor” volumes unless it is a silent session. Our space is one for connection, collaboration and support, not competition.
Safety
At Kolm, your enjoyment and safety are our top priority. Our team is trained to respond to incidents with First Aid protocols.
