We’re seeking a thoughtful, creative, and organized Marketing Manager to help us tell our story, expand our reach, and deepen our impact—across every channel, every touchpoint, and every moment we create.

The Role

As Kolm’s Marketing Manager, you are both strategist and storyteller. You know how to inspire connection through content, curate calm through design, and move people through meaningful messaging. From leading our email strategy to executing community-rooted campaigns on Instagram and TikTok, you’ll be the voice and vision behind Kolm’s digital presence.

This role blends creative storytelling with operational excellence. You will lead content, campaigns, and communications while also managing a growing ecosystem of partnerships, collaborations, and community relationships. You’ll be trusted to independently set timelines, manage priorities, and keep momentum moving.

 

Who You Are

  • Partnership & Community Strategist: Kolm is deeply connected to its community, and this role involves managing multiple collaboration opportunities at once
  • Strategic Communicator: Partnerships require consistent follow-up, proposal coordination, negotiation, and relationship management. You understand that communication is not always immediate and know how to remain efficient, professional, and persistent when responses are delayed.
  • Operationally Organized Project Lead: You are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects at once. This includes daily operational tasks, time-bound campaigns, and long-term initiatives, often simultaneously.
  • A natural problem solver: When challenges arise, especially during live events, activations, or community moments-you stay calm, think clearly, and act quickly to find solutions.
  • Proactive Self-Starter: You don’t wait to be told what to do. You anticipate needs, recognize required steps, and take initiative to move work forward.
  • Digital Storyteller: You understand how to use words, images, and platforms to create connection.
  • Creative & Systematic: You love Canva or equivalent creative tools and a well-structured marketing flow.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a sharp eye for consistency, tone, and clarity.
  • Self-Starter and Collaborative: You thrive in dynamic environments, working independently and as part of a purpose-driven team. You take initiative and ownership over building and executing brand partnerships and campaigns.
  • Social Media Enthusiast: You’re always tracking trends, experimenting with Reels and TikToks, and balancing creativity with clarity.
  • Wellness Advocate: You have a genuine passion for wellness and community, bringing that spirit into your work.
  • Flexible: You’re available mid-days for content capture and can occasionally attend community events in the evenings or on weekends.
  • Live the Brand: You are a Kolm regular. You attend Kolm sessions at-least once a week. You are in tune to the guest experience.

 

What You Will Do

Social Media & Community Engagement
  • Develop, schedule, and post daily social content (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) with relevance, warmth, and intention.
  • Be present in-studio and at events to capture live, community-rooted content.
  • Provide content creation workshops for facilitators and team members to empower authentic storytelling.
  • Monitor digital trends, memes, and wellness community moments to keep Kolm’s social content fresh and engaging.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage influencers and brand ambassadors; support them with content and community integration.
  • Build and maintain a partner database with like-minded businesses for potential collaborations.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with community partners and collaborators, ensuring clear communication, timely follow-ups, and aligned deliverables.

Design & Creative Execution
  • Design polished, on-brand graphics and visuals using Canva for web, email, and social.
  • Support occasional photoshoots and creative production needs.
  • Create and maintain a content library that includes imagery, video, and UGC for multi-channel use.
  • Create cohesive, multi-channel campaign assets across email, paid ads, social posts, Stories, and internal staff communications (e.g. sales, promotions, announcements, and launches).

Event Marketing
  • Plan and execute pre- and post-event email campaigns for classes and community gatherings.
  • Build smart data collection systems to gather participant feedback and use AI tools to translate insights into action.
  • Ideate and execute partner collaborations + events, event-related asset design, promotions, and activations in studio
  • Support partnership-driven events and activations, including coordination of assets, timelines, and communications

Collaboration & Communication
  • Ensuring smooth, clear, and aligned internal updates.
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives like rewards programs, perks, and partnerships.
  • Champion and reflect Kolm’s values and cultural identity through every touchpoint.
  • Coordinate partnership proposals, collaborations, and negotiated deliverables with external partners.
  • Develop and manage partnership-based marketing initiatives, including collaborations with gyms, run clubs, spin studios, and other community-led organizations.

Marketing & Content Strategy
  • Collaborate with co-founders to plan and execute a social media calendar that reflects Kolm’s brand, values, and marketing goals.
  • Maintain a unified brand voice across all platforms and channels.
  • Own Kolm’s email marketing calendar, writing and designing bi-weekly newsletters and automated event flows using Brandbot.
  • Design and implement marketing systems and programs that drive retention, loyalty, and community engagement (ex: loyalty programs, rewards, milestone initiatives, and staff incentive structures).
  • Create repeatable frameworks for collaborations and community programs, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.

Analytics & Optimization
  • Track key marketing metrics and share monthly reports with actionable insights.
  • Constantly iterate on content strategies based on analytics, testing, and what’s resonating.
  • Utilize data collection tools and AI to refine email and social performance and inform campaigns.

 

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing with a focus on content creation, email, and social media.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Instagram, TikTok, and email marketing platforms (Brandbot experience is a plus).
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a clear and consistent tone of voice.
  • Deep understanding of marketing data, analytics, and performance metrics.
  • Experience managing influencer or brand ambassador programs.
  • Passion for wellness and community-oriented spaces.
  • Experience planning, launching, and optimizing paid campaigns across Meta and Google Ads

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Prior marketing experience in a wellness, experiential, or lifestyle brand.
  • Startup experience or background working on small, agile teams.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or video editing software.
  • Familiarity with Notion
  • Previous Kolm community involvement or experience with sauna/cold exposure practices.
